It really makes me sad when a close friend or a relative I know of smokes. None of my relatives do anymore since my grandpa had a close call, but some of my close friends do and it really makes me upset.
I know a petty little stamp will hardly change anyone's mind, but spread the word anyway?

My grandpa smokes too. It's only a matter of time before he has a close call unfortunately... =(

In school we're constantly having people come in and hold assemblies about not smoking (it can get a little annoying, especially when they think that we learned something new). But that's what most of them said.

We used to have that all the time in primary school...and little bus things we went into with some Harold Giraffe who taught us about the bad affects from smoking and drugs and such. Every. darn. year, the same thing over and over.
I guess in the end they're drilling it into our heads which is good, but...it did get annoying because nothing new was being learnt.

You have a good point about drilling it into our heads. But it's really annoying, especially at the end of each assembly when the people always say "Ok kids, what new things did we learn today?"
