Australia, as many of you know, is experiencing the worst natural disaster in its history.
I live very close to these big bushfires that have killed over 210 people and counting.
I have emailed the Red Cross Australia, and am yet awaiting a reply from them; I am going to have a contest here on dA where people who wish to enter donate any piece of art dedicated to the bushfire appeal, and the Red Cross will hopefully then post these pieces on their site for the victims and the public to see (obviously with links to the artists etc).
By doing this, you will also being showing your support to the poor people who have suffered such horrible events, whole towns lost, animals, land, everything. Arsonsists are still lighting them in places around the state, too.
Every piece will be donated, but the best piece will win prizes.
Please, I ask the public who will not be entering to donate a prize to this contest. Anything from features to subs. Please note me with donations, and show your support to those who have lost family members, homes and animals.
I host this contest because I know this community on dA has a high level of generousity and you are all amazing artists. So please, show your support and help with Australia get through this crisis.

Sorry to hear about all those poor people dying, its horrible.
We had fires over here, a lot to tell the truth but not too many people were killed....
We've lost a lot of animals and a lot of flora too but we're a small country and no body helped us.. ( uruguay )
